New Product Planing
A gamified gait-analysis coaching project
Raised $2.3M investment offer from Krafton by leading a gamified gait-analysis coaching project, using KAIST startup tech.
Year :
2021
Industry :
Game
Client :
Krafton
Project Duration :
4 weeks

What inspired me: Problem
This project originally began as a new product planning contest. Inspired by my father’s rehabilitation, I set out to transform 'boring gait therapy' into an engaging health game.

Solution :
Using head-motion data for 30+ medical gait analyses, this game empowers both preventive care and post-rehabilitation recovery.

Challenge :
This was not originally a startup investment project, but Krafton and others unexpectedly approached me first with a significant funding offer. However, I chose not to pursue it, as I had no aspiration to become a CEO and believed my strengths were better suited to product planning and development.
Summary :
This project originally began as a new product planning contest. Inspired by my father’s gait rehabilitation, I sought to transform repetitive therapy into an engaging health game.
I created a gamified gait-coaching system leveraging head-motion data, enabling 30+ medical gait analyses for preventive care.
I developed the concept, built an early prototype, and presented it through the contest. Unexpectedly, Krafton ($2.3M) and several other companies expressed strong interest and offered funding.
However, I chose not to pursue the investment offers, as I had no aspiration to become a CEO and believed my strengths were better suited to product planning and development. The experience nonetheless validated the strong market potential of the idea.
